I am a New-York-born, ex-slug (UCSC Graduate) and escapee from the L.A. film business turned high-tech farmer. I attained an A.S. in Horticulture from Cabrillo Community College in 2012. I’m interested in cutting-edge sustainable agriculture, automation and radical sustainably. I’m also into growing the best Shishito peppers in town. This is my 5th season growing peppers and we’re planning to grow more next season.
Farmer Max began in 2012. This is our 6th season of growing crops hydroponically and intensively on our farm in Corralitos.
Our exceptional produce is available online and can be shipped directly to our customers in areas of the country where peppers are not as plentiful. We ship 2-day air in an insulated box, so you get produce that is as fresh as the day it was picked.
